Allen Stroud

 

 

Allen Stroud is a university lecturer and Science Fiction and Fantasy Writer from Bedfordshire, England. He worked on the computer game Elite: Dangerous with David Braben and Frontier Developments as both a concept writer and official author, publishing Elite: Lave Revolution in 2014.

In 2017, he won a short story competition to appear in the Clarke Award anthology with Clarke Award winners and nominees that will be published in December to commemorate one hundred years since Arthur C. Clarke’s birth. In 2016, Allen published Dreams of Chaos and Chaos Reborn: The Loremaster’s Guide.

Allen’s new book is The Forever Man, to be launched at Fantasycon in October 2017. He writes reviews for The British Fantasy Society, SFBook.com and Concatenation.org and is the editor of the British Fantasy Society Journal. His is the Chair of Fantasycon for 2017 and 2018.
